Slope Stabilization

Slope stabilization can be achieved through a variety of methods, including tiebacks and soil nailing.

Construction Stages
  • Resistance to ground movement is increased by installing drilled and grouted reinforcing elements.
  • The reinforcing elements may be connected to a wall; patterned ground anchors, Tecco Mesh, etc.
Theory

Resistance to ground movement is increased until a suitable safety factor is achieved.

Applications

Slope stabilization is useful for active slides as well as new construction where site grading will decrease slope stability.

Wurster Engineering & Construction specializes in using anchoring systems, to stabilize slopes.
